Not So Secret Journal

I just love a good old social media meltdown, and very few people can say that they have broken twitter over the years. (and I’m not talking about actually breaking it, just causing a scene)

There was Kimi K and her nakedness, I’m certain queen Bey and Taylor have also broken it once or twice.

Now I turned my twitter feed off years ago, there was a time I tweeted like a songbird, but it just got a bit troll’ish and not in a good way, so I turned it off never to return.

This morning I’m not feeling so great and I have such a busy weekend coming up with our youngest daughters showcase at dance and our middle daughters first rugby game so I can’t be sick, there’s just no time people.

So, picture the scene I’m sat on the sofa scrolling through insta and I see one of my favourite pages talking about Drake (the rapper) and his meat (shall we just say that and save his blushes.)

I start googling frantically to find out what in gods name has been going on over on twitter land and find out it actually started on drakes Insta story. 

What in gods name, how did I miss this?

Apparently, the Gods plan singer (and this was probably not his or gods plan to share this) has had a video leaked of him with his meat on full show and some say in action too, I’d say allegedly but he has already confirmed that it was him in the video, that was leaked onto his story on Instagram.

Now for research purposes I have tried to track down the video, (please god don’t look at my search history), but unfortunately I cant find it and I’m not on twitter so I have no access to anything there.

Digging deeper it seems like little Mr Drake (or apparently not so much of the little if you catch my drift), wasn’t responsible for the leaked footage, and another streamer was allegedly responsible, and I have no idea who this streamer is because I’m too old to care.

There are far too many of these streamers (I’m not too sure what their job is, but I know they do stuff online) and I don’t have time to look or care, but what I do know is Drake isn’t happy, and this man is normally a bundle of light and joy.

On the other hand, a certain Mr Musk owner of twitterland is said to be ecstatic about the leak, not because his bots failed to shut down such adult content but because twitter has now gone to the top of the app store charts with the most downloads since twitter began.

So I suppose you could say this story has had its ups and downs, (well not so much a down, more most downloaded), but the moral of the story is make sure there are no phones or cameras around if your want to show off your tackle to your mates. No matter how big or clever you are someone will always share it with their mates

This was probably the best part of growing up in the 80’s and early 90’s, no phones and no social media, so absolutely no evidence of doing stupid shit with your mates.

When will these kids ever learn……. On to the next social meltdown.
